Gorilla Ogo is an invasive seaweed that needs to be removed from Waihonu in order to re-establish native limu. Rotary Club of Hilo, Rotary Club of Hilo Bay, and Rotary Club of South Hilo are joining with UH-Hilo students to remove gorilla ogo from the north section of the pond. There are chores to be done in the pond and chores to be done on land. Some water shoes and gloves are available for those going in the pond. For those on land, please wear closed toe shoes
