Every Saturday in August is a volunteer day to help prepare for the Queen’s birthday festival in September. This Saturday 8/9 will concentrate on the cycad (sago palm) patch near the west torii on the makai (ocean) side of the park along Lihiwai Street. Please wear closed toe shoes. Bring gloves and your favorite garden tools. Some gloves and tools will be available for loan.
